Most Westerners know Yoga as a series of postures (asana) and movements designed to create health and well-being in the mind, body, and spirit. Did you know that Asana is just one of eight limbs of Yoga as defined by the sage Pantanjali? In this workshop, we'll engage in a basic exploration of all eight limbs, through practice and discussion. We'll learn to incorporate these concepts into our classes in an effort to provide our students with a richer experience of Classical Yoga. This weekend is appropriate for new and experienced teachers, as well as curious practitioners who want to broaden their scope and deepen their practice.
